Uploading a size chart from a CSV file and getting an error, or seeing your chart come out wrong? It's nearly always a small formatting detail. Here's the checklist.
The format AI Frame expects
Your CSV needs:
Row 1: column headers — e.g. Size, Bust (cm), Waist (cm), Hip (cm)
Every following row: one size — e.g. S, 84, 66, 90
A correct file looks like this:
💡 Not sure? Click Download sample CSV in the upload window and use it as your starting point, replace the values with your own and upload.
Quick fixes for common issues
"It won't upload at all" - check the file is saved as .csv (not .xlsx or .numbers). In Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets: File → Download/Save As → CSV.
"Everything landed in one column" - your file may use semicolons (;) instead of commas, a common default in European spreadsheet exports. Re-save with commas as the separator [confirm: does the importer accept semicolons? If yes, replace this fix with "both work"].
"My headers became a size row" - the first row must be your column names, not measurements. Add a header row and re-upload.
"Strange characters (é, …) in my chart" - re-save the CSV with UTF-8 encoding (an option in the save dialog of every spreadsheet app).
Coming from another size chart app?
You can bring your existing charts with you: export or copy them into this CSV format and import them here in minutes. If your previous app doesn't offer an export, copying the table into a spreadsheet and saving as CSV works just as well and if you'd like a hand migrating, message us. We're happy to help you switch.
Plan note: the Free plan includes 1 size chart [confirm: uploaded via CSV allowed on Free, or build-only?]; Starter and above include unlimited CSV uploads across their chart allowance.
Need a hand? If your file still won't import, send it to us in a message and we'll sort it together!
