When you add a medicine to your health plan, you setup your preferred reminder times based on the dosage schedule. These times can be related to your daily routine (e.g. 30 minutes after breakfast at 7:30 am) or specific (e.g. at 9:30 pm).
β
Note: It is possible to change these individual dosage times, as well as change the dosage schedule itself (i.e. how often you take the medicine) if required.
Changing individual dosage times
If you are continuing to take a medicine on the same schedule, but simply want to adjust the specific times that you receive reminders, follow these steps.
Step 1
Go to 'Medicines' and then select the medicine you want to update.
Step 2
Tap on the time you want to change under 'Times'
Step 3
If it is an exact time, you can edit this - or can choose 'My routine' to change to a routine-based reminder time.
If it is a routine-based time, depending on what kind, you can either change the 'before' or 'after' amount to change when the reminder occurs, or tap on the routine label (e.g. "After I wake") to pick a different part of your daily routine or change the reminder to an exact time.
Changing the dosage schedule
If you want to change the overall schedule for your medication - how often you take the medicine - follow these steps.
Step 1
Go to 'Medicines' and then select the medicine you want to update.
Step 2
Tap on the dosage schedule description (e.g. "Twice daily") which is in the coloured area by the medicine name and icon. It will ask if you want to change the dosage schedule, select 'Edit' if you want to do this.
Step 3
Follow the same process as when first setting up the medicine, picking how often you take it, how much and when.
