Blog images
A minimum of 1740px wide.
Product images
A minimum of 1140px wide, ideally 2000px wide.
If the photos are shot in the same way, they then look uniform when listed together. So pick an orientation, portrait or landscape. Then stick with a ratio, 4:3, 3:2 or 1:1 (square).
We can auto crop to a specific ratio, but you'll lose parts of the image when we do, so best you upload the same ratio/orientation each time.

You'll need to provide an image with double the width and height of the dimensions you've specified in the widget settings. So if you've specified dimensions of 1170px by 400px, then you need to upload images with a minimum of 2340px by 800px. This caters for high density (retina) screens.
