What is a related product?
A related product is a product that has been associated with another product. By relating products together you can cross-promote similar products on your product detail pages.
The association can either be a one-way relationship or you can choose to create a reciprocal relationship between the two products.
How do I add a related product?
Go to Commerce > Products > Products.
Find the product that you are looking for and click on it.
Click the Website Listing tab under the product title.
Scroll down the Related products table.
Click the Add related product button.
Select a product from the dropdown.
Optionally enter a Weighting.
Optionally tick Create reciprocal relationship.
Click the Add button.
How do I edit a related product?
Go to Commerce > Products > Products.
Find the product that you are looking for and click on it.
Click the Website Listing tab under the product title.
Scroll down the Related products table.
Find the related product that you are looking for and click the Edit button in the Options column.
Edit the related product's details.
Click the Update button.
How do I delete a related product?
Go to Commerce > Products > Products.
Find the product that you are looking for and click on it.
Click the Website Listing tab under the product title.
Scroll down the Related products table.
Find the related product that you are looking for and click the Delete button in the Options column.
Click the Delete button to confirm.
