What are the different types of navigation on my website?
In Airsquare we have four main areas of navigation:
Utility navigation (usually shown top right, with your shopping cart).
Main navigation (usually shown horizontally, next to or under the logo).
Sub-navigation (see sub-navigation widget; you can put this anywhere on your page).
Footer navigation (shown in the footer).
Both main navigation and sub-navigation are automatically generated based on the pages of your website. You can optionally hide a page.
Utility navigation and footer navigation are set up manually. You choose what links to show (see below).
With all navigation, only published items are shown to the public and on-hold items are only shown when you're logged into Airsquare.
How do I add links to the footer or utility navigation?
To add an external link:
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the headings Utility navigation links and Top navigation links.
Click Add beside the heading.
Under Type, choose External link.
Enter the Title and the External URL.
Click Add to save.
To add an internal link:
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the headings Utility navigation links and Top navigation links.
Click Add beside the heading.
Under Type, choose Page.
Under Page, choose the applicable page from the drop-down menu.
Click Add to save.
How do I add a cart link to the utility navigation?
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the heading Utility navigation links.
Click Add beside the heading.
Under Type, choose Cart.
Click Add.
How do I add a Login link to the utility navigation?
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the heading Utility navigation links.
Click Add beside the heading.
Under Type, choose Login.
Click Add.
How do I add an email address link to my utility navigation?
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the heading Utility navigation links.
Click Add beside the heading.
Under Type, choose Email address.
Click Add.
How do I add a Phone number link to my utility navigation?
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the heading Utility navigation links.
Click Add beside the heading.
Under Type, choose Phone number.
Click Add.
How do I add a Search link to my utility navigation?
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the heading Utility navigation links.
Click Add beside the heading.
Under Type, choose Search.
Click Add.
How do I remove a link from the footer or utility navigation?
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the headings Utility navigation links and Top navigation links and links listed under each.
Click Delete next to the link(s) that you want to remove.
Click Delete to confirm.
How do I re-order the footer or utility navigation?
Go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
You'll see the headings Utility navigation links and Top navigation links and links listed under each.
Click and drag the move icon on the left to move a row up or down, release when it's in the correct place.
