Unit History shows the coverage, registration and claim history the manufacturer holds for a unit. Enter a serial number and click Look up. It covers Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove units only.

Who can do this: Team members with an active subscription, when Unit History is turned on for your team. Unit History is set up by Aiventic, so contact Aiventic support to have it enabled.

Look up a serial number

  1. Click Unit History in the navigation.

  2. Type the unit's serial number in the Serial number box. Use letters, numbers and hyphens only, up to 32 characters.

  3. Click Look up, or press Enter.

Look up from a job

A Unit History tab appears on a job when Unit History is on for your team, the job has a serial number, and the brand is Sub-Zero, Wolf or Cove. Otherwise the tab is not shown.

What you'll see

  • Registration Information: Dealer, Installed by, Account / customer, City, state, Primary phone.

  • Refrigerant Information: original and current refrigerant item number and type.

  • Unit Information: serial number, model number, description, manufactured date, distributor, manufacturing location, invoice date.

  • Installation Notes, or No installation notes available.

  • Warranty Info: Full warranty, Full sealed system and Limited parts only, each marked Active, Expired or Unknown.

  • Documents, when documents are linked to the unit's model.

  • Warranty Claims: Date repaired, Account / customer, Ref #, Service company, Customer request, Service performed and parts. If there are none you'll see No warranty claims on record for this unit.

Good to know

  • The address of the page includes the serial number, so you can copy it to share a lookup.

  • If the serial number has other characters or is longer than 32 characters, the lookup is rejected and you'll see Service Central rejected this serial number. Check it and try again.

  • In a job's tab, results are kept for a few minutes. If a lookup can be retried you'll see a Try again button.
