To update your details, just navigate to 'My details’ from the More menu. You can update most information in the app, including your address, phone number or email address.
If you’ve changed your name because you've recently got married, divorced, or changed your name by deed poll, you'll need to email our customer services team at help@ajbell.co.uk with the following documents:
If you've got married and changed your name, we’ll need a certified copy of your marriage certificate
If you've divorced and changed your name, we’ll need a certified copy of your marriage certificate – along with either the deed poll or decree absolute
If you've changed your name for any other reason, we’ll need a certified copy of the deed poll
Once we’ve received your documents, we’ll update the name on your account. Your username you use to log in online won’t change.
To update other personal details such as your date of birth or National Insurance number, you’ll have to call us on 0345 54 32 600.
To help prevent fraud, it's vital that the personal information in your online account is kept up to date. We’ll check in on you once a year, asking you to confirm that the information we have for you is correct.
Whenever we need you to do this, you’ll see a pop-up box when you log in to the app. You don’t have to check your details straight away, but after three prompts, you’ll be automatically taken to the ‘Review my details’ screen.
