What happens if there isn't enough cash in my account to pay my charges?

If you don’t have enough cash in your account to cover charges, these will still be deducted and will take your account overdrawn. If cash is then added to your account, either from dividends, interest or money you pay in, this will go towards clearing the overdrawn amount.

If your account remains overdrawn, we’ll get in touch to ask that you add some cash or sell investments to clear the amount due. As a final resort, we’d have to sell enough investments in your account to cover the overdrawn amount. There is a disinvestment charge of £9.95 per holding to pay for this. We would normally sell units of your largest fund holding first in this case.
