'Available cash' in your SIPP, ISA or Dealing account, is the cash in your account you can use to invest - and this can differ from the cash in your account you're able to withdraw.

As a rule, you can withdraw the total of the cleared cash in your account minus any money earmarked for pending share or fund purchases and limit orders. Money you’ve recently paid into your account may not be available straight away – it can take up to five days to clear.

Money you’ve made from investment sales is normally available to withdraw one day after the settlement date shown on your contract note.

Keep in mind that there are restrictions on withdrawing from a Lifetime ISA (LISA) or SIPP. Find out more about withdrawing money from your LISA and withdrawing money from your SIPP.
