The Action Plan is your personalized, step-by-step task list designed to help you jumpstart your job search journey. It highlights high-impact activities, recommends your next steps, and tracks your progress — so you always know what to focus on next.

The Action Plan organizes those proven steps into a clear, progressive sequence to help you spend less time guessing and more time making meaningful progress.
Getting started
Your Action Plan comes pre-loaded with recommended tasks based on job search best practices. These tasks are designed to help you:

Completing tasks
To complete a task:
Click on the task to view details and instructions.
Complete the recommended action.
Mark the task as complete to track your progress.
Thrive Tip: Focus on one task at a time. Small, consistent actions each day will build momentum and lead to meaningful results.
Adding your own tasks
Want to track something that isn’t listed? You can create your own custom tasks:
Select Add Task
Enter a title and description
Click Save Action Item
This allows you to personalize your plan and stay organized.
Tracking your progress
As you complete tasks, your progress is automatically saved. You’ll be able to see how far you’ve come at a glance — helping you stay motivated, focused, and on track.
