Why is the Chrome Extension important?

Thrive's SmartTracker Google Chrome Extension is a small software program that compares your resume against job listings and suggests keywords you might include to be a stronger match for that role. It also allows you to save job postings to our Job Tracker, so you can easily manage your progress for each job application.

You can download the extension here or follow the steps below:

  • Ensure that you are using Google Chrome for your internet browser.

  • When you first login to Thrive, there will be an orange bar at the top of the screen that says “This browser doesn’t have our extension installed”. On the right, click "Install for Chrome".

  • You will be directed to the Chrome Web Store. Click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension on your browser.

  • Reload your webpage to update! When you click on a job posting, the extension will automatically pop-up on the top right of the page.
