Sales starts at day 1! Early sales needs to be done by the early team (CEO/co-founders) to understand the pain and learn how to connect the dots. It’s difficult to hire an outsider before you’ve refined your product and market. Once you’ve developed your product, story, fit, then you may be ready to bring in your managers/VPs.
