Would you pay 3500 in registration fees + 1500 for flights + accommodation for a relevant conference in Florida which can generate leads? Given that you have one $80K contract + POCs+ about $100K in the bank?

So, about $10k in expenditure? How hyper-focused is the conference — how many of your ideal customers will be there? How good are you at getting in-person leads (gut check here, have to be realistic and honest). Do you have a shortage of leads at this point? Can you speak at the conference to increase visibility + potentially get those fees for free?

I’d balance the opportunity cost of the OTHER things you could be doing, the OTHER things you could spend the money on, etc, and if the scales tip  … you’ll see which is the best option, in my opinion.

Mature sales teams use,  $500-$700 /  meeting (avg. cost to get a phone meeting with a qualified buyer)  as the base number to calculate ROI on sales effort. So if you can get 10-15 conversations it’s money well spent.
