I'm putting together the "blurb" that I'm asked all the time. What do you put on it?

1. Reason why you’re reaching out (context, be specific)

2. About your startup: what is it, problem you solve, how

3. Tractions or metrics

4. Team

Example: "We are closing next week a bridge round on a SAFE with $3.5M cap. We are indeed joining The Alchemist  on the 30th of November in San Francisco. It's a great opportunity for angel investors to come onboard before valuation gets north of $10M in 6 months (see Alchemist's stats). To simplify, if you invest say $25K; you will end up worse case with 0.71%. After getting good traction in the Middle-East with clients such as Careem, Fetchr, Etihad, and Etisalat; our product and team is ready for a big launch in the US market.

About Visage:

Visage is a crowdsourced recruiting platform allowing employers to connect instantly with passive talent. The problem we are solving is that passive candidates (75% of the talent market) don't apply for jobs and certainly don’t respond to LinkedIn Inmails anymore. Our platform combines a crowd of 1,000+ recruiters and artificial intelligence to give any company the "outbound" recruitment firepower of say Google.

How:

Employers post jobs on Visage and describe the ideal candidate. The job is automatically dispatched to 10-20 freelance recruiters who are the most likely to have passive candidates suitable for the job. 48H later, they get candidates matching the requirement and ready to engage with. This costs no more than a job post on Linkedin.

KPI's:

- 1,000+ freelance recruiters

- 105+ paying customers (30 monthly active)

- 3,500+ candidates referred every week

- 20% monthly growth revenue ($28K in September)

Team:

3 co-founders. 2 French and 1 British. Two of us have already made seven figures exit."
