How can you push investors to complete diligence?

[Investor First Name],ย

I wanted to send a quick update re: [Your Company Name].

We have an institutional investor that is in late stages of diligence. We want to drive a fair process -- and like you a lot -- and are trying to manage the timing of this process to keep things fair.

To that end, we are asking if you are interested in [Your Company Name] if it's possible to push forward with confirming your investor interest sooner than later. Ideally, we are asking investors to complete diligence and put forth an expression of interest or term sheet by next [set date].

Can you let us know if that is possible -- and if not, what timeframe would be reasonable? This will help us coordinate our process.

And if I can help with any diligence items you have, please just email me. I already have diligence items done, and so I can just copy and paste if questions are arising in your process.

With thanks,

[Your Name]ย
