Q: Most of the VCs want to see the demo before they commit. It's gonna take us at least 2 more weeks.
How to convince them to invest now ?
A: I'll give tips here, but please know these hacks can just add a little influence. they can't surmount a fundamental issue if it's critical.
* You can explain that others are moving more quickly. Just say that other investors are moving more quickly than you anticipated, so if they were interested, it would be better to move sooner than wait.
* Show them a wireframe demo. Is there a streamlined vesion of a demo you can show them so they can see how it will work? Explain you have a prototype demo available now but you are building the bigger release in conjunction w/ partners, and that will take time as you are working with them.
* If you have customers who can speak to the product b/f it's built -- and validate the vision, approach, and differentiation -- you can offer that up instead
