If you are using Alia generated unique discount codes on your pop-ups, Alia passes the discount code as the aliaoffer property to Postscript upon email or SMS submission. This allows you to populate your SMS flows dynamically, ensuring the subscriber receives the exact same code they saw on the popup.
Using dynamic properties helps maintain a seamless experience for your customers by:
Providing instant access to the discount code via SMS.
Reducing friction in the checkout process.
Ensuring consistency between your Alia popups and your marketing automation.
Configuration Steps
To add the discount code property to your SMS text, follow the steps below within your Postscript account:
Access your Flow: Go to the specific text message that you want to add the discount code to in your Postscript Welcome Flow.
Open Merge Tags: Select the option "Merge tags" located inside the message editor.
Insert the Property: Under the Subscriber Properties category, look for the property named
aliaofferand click it to add it to your message.
Once thealiaoffertag is added, Postscript will automatically replace it with the unique code generated by Alia for each individual subscriber when the message is sent.
