Why is my article/collection gone? 📕

This guide will help you understand what might have happened and how to find or resolve the issue.

Updated over a month ago

If your collection has been lost, one or more of the following things may have happened:

1. It’s Been Moved to Another Collection

  • Your article or collection may have been moved under a different collection or combined with another article.

  • What to Do: Check other collections in The Hub to see if it has been relocated. Often, it’s just a case of it being organized into a different section.

2. It’s Saved as a Draft

  • Articles or collections that are still in draft mode won’t appear as published content.

  • How to Check:

    • Ensure the collection is marked with a green indicator in the top corner and labeled as ‘Published’.

    • If it’s not published, you’ll need to finalize and publish it so employees can see it in the app.

3. It’s Been Deleted

  • If you accidentally closed the page while creating your collection or article, it may not have been saved and is unfortunately deleted.

  • What to Do:

    • Try recreating the content if you’re sure it’s missing.

    • Consider reaching out to your admin or team for support to recover any related information.

Pro Tips to Prevent Future Loss

  • Always double-check that your work is saved and published before exiting.

  • Organize your content by labeling collections clearly to make them easier to find.

  • Save drafts regularly, especially for longer articles, to avoid losing progress.
