With Alli, your entire website is optimized in minutes for search engine traffic, automatically, with one line of code.

First, add your domain or website URL, provide information about the niche of your business followed by adding keywords and approval of initial recommendations - and finally with the installation of Alli's JavaScript on your site.

Now, in order for Alli to start optimizing your website, the generated JavaScript snippet needs to be added to your website. The JavaScript code should include in the <HEAD> tag of your site right before the closing </HEAD> tag.

Here are the steps on how to add your JavaScript snippet:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin site and click on “Customize theme” to access the ‘Themes’ section. There will be another “Customize” button at the right-hand side, click on it.

  2. Scroll down and at the lower left-hand side you will see the option “Theme actions”, click on it then select “Edit code”.

  3. Look for the ‘Layout’ folder and click on it. In the ‘Layout’ folder is a list of files, look for “{/} theme.liquid” and click on it. Notice that after you click on “{/} theme.liquid” a bunch code will appear at the right-hand section.

  4. You may now copy the JavaScript snippet from your Alli AI dashboard and paste it before </body> tag or between <head> and </head> tag.

If you need to revisit the page to where you can copy your Alli AI JavaScript snippet, just add “/widget” to your site link and that will open the JavaScript Snippet page for your site.

    For example https://www.alliai.com/account/sites/0000/widget

  5. Click the ‘Save’ button to save the changes in your Shopify site.
