Credit Alert Notifications

How you’ll be notified when charges are detected in your credit report

Updated over 2 months ago

Once you’ve set up credit monitoring in Allio, we’ll keep track of changes and notify you about them. There are a few different types of Credit Alerts you might see. These include:

  • Balance changes

  • New inquiries

  • New accounts

  • Changes to your credit score

  • Delinquent account reports

Credit Alerts Inside the App

You can manage your notifications by tapping the bell icon in the upper right corner of the app to open the Alerts Center.

☝️Tip: When the bell icon has a dot over it, this means you have new notifications.

In the Alerts Center, notifications are sorted into high, medium (mid), and low credit impact categories. You can filter your notifications, based on these categories. To do this, tap the filter icon which will always be visible in the upper right corner of the screen when you’re in the Alerts Center.

Credit Alerts Outside the App

You can customize when and how you receive Credit Alerts outside the app. You can choose to receive notifications about credit changes daily, weekly, or on a custom interval. You can also set your preferred notification method between email, text, and push (device) notifications.

To set your notification preferences tap Profile in the menu that’s visible from most places in the Allio app. Then tap the Info & Settings Notifications.

From there you will see notifications under Push (device), Text/SMS, and Email. You can toggle each notification type off or on for a particular delivery method. Credit Alerts are part of the Account Transactions category.

Please note: not all notification types are available for all delivery methods and the notifications about Account Transactions cannot be turned off for email delivery.
