The MacroCalendar is a comprehensive tool that provides a complete view of U.S. market events across past, present, and future timeframes. Events are color-coded based on priority, allowing you to quickly identify and prioritize important economic events to help make informed investment decisions.
The MacroCalendar is located in the MacroDashboard section of the Allio app and helps investors track, monitor, and prepare for significant economic releases that can impact market movements.
Calendar View
The calendar displays a five-week view, with the current week highlighted by default and the current date is distinctly highlighted within the week. By selecting any week on the calendar, it will be highlighted with a list of events shown for the week.
☝️ Note: The MacroCalendar displays time in a 12-hour format (such as 08:00 AM) and is adjusted to your local timezone
Priority Filtering
Events on the calendar are distinguished by colored dots that indicate their market impact:
Red: High-priority events
Significant market-moving potential
Example: Fed Chair Powell Testimony
Orange: Medium-priority events
May or may not influence market sentiment
Example: Fed Hammack Speech
Green: Low-priority events
Provide additional market context
Example: Import Prices YoY
Located at the bottom of the calendar, there will be three toggles labeled High, Med, and Low that allow you to customize which events to display. To start, all priority levels are selected and this can be easily adjusted based on preference.
