IMPORTANT: Both tools, Bone Level Measurement and the Ruler, are designed to be used only with Intraoral (IO) images.
1. Bone Level Measurement Tool
The Bone Level tool provides a quick and standardized measurement of the bone level around the teeth, based on the landmarks identified by the Allisone AI.
📝 How to Use It
Open the IO Image: Ensure you are viewing a compatible intraoral radiograph.
Activate the Tool: Click on the Bone Level Measurement button (look for the representative icon, e.g., a tooth with measurement lines).
View Automatic Measurements: After clicking, the tool will automatically display all measurements in millimeters (mm) for the detected teeth in the image.
Edit Measurements (If Necessary): While Allisone provides accurate initial measurements, we know that human validation is crucial. You have the ability to edit any of these measurements by clicking on them and adjusting the reference points on the image, should you deem a correction or fine-tuning necessary.
2. Ruler Tool
The Ruler Tool is a flexible utility that allows you to measure any structure or distance you wish within the intraoral image you are analyzing. It is perfect for personalized measurements or for verifying specific distances not covered by the automated analyses.
📏 How to Use It
Activate the Ruler: Locate and click on the Ruler button
Set the Start Point: Click on the point in the IO image where you want to begin the measurement.
Set the End Point: Drag the mouse to the final point and click again to set the measurement.
Result: The length of the drawn line will instantly appear in millimeters (mm).
Use this tool to measure elements such as root length, the distance between potential implants, or any other relevant dimension on the intraoral radiograph.
