With the Allisone Companion Chrome extension, a new act named "X-ray report (Allisone)", with the radiological findings for each tooth, is created automatically in the patient's current appointment.

Prerequisites
To use this feature, you need:
An Dentally account
The Google Chrome browser
The Allisone Companion extension installed in Chrome
⚠️ Compatibility: this integration doesn't work with the new Dentally version that includes Clinical AI Notes.
Step 1: Install the Allisone Companion Chrome extension
Open Google Chrome
Click here to install the Allisone Companion extension
Check that the extension is turned on in your browser
Step 2: Send your report to Dentally
⚠️ Before you click, check the patient in Dentally: the report goes to the patient file that is open and active in Dentally at the moment you click. Make sure it's the same patient as the one in Allisone AI.
Open a patient in Dentally
Open the same patient file in Allisone AI
Click Validate the Analysis button
Go to the Report tab
Click the Dentally icon next to "Report"
A notification confirms it was sent: "Report sent Dentally"
What happens after sending?
In Dentally, a new act named "X-ray report (Allisone)" has been created for the current appointment. It contains the radiological findings for each tooth.
You can edit the act freely, then save it directly in Dentally.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
The Dentally button is greyed out | No report is available yet for this consultation. |
The Dentally button doesn't appear | Check that the Chrome extension is installed and turned on. |
The note doesn't appear in Dentally | Check that the right patient is opened in Dentally. |
The note was added to the wrong patient | The report goes to the patient file active in Dentally when you click. Delete the draft note in that patient's file, open the right patient in Dentally, then send the report again. |
FAQ
What data is sent to Dentally?
Only the radiological findings from the report, for each tooth. The x-ray won't be sent.
Can I edit the note after sending it?
Yes. It's created as a new act, so you can complete it in Dentally.
Does the sync work both ways?
No. Data only goes from Allisone AI to Dentally.
Does it work in a browser other than Chrome?
No. The feature relies on the Allisone Companion Chrome extension.
