Why annotate an X-ray?
Checking, modifying and validating elements on the radio is not compulsory, but there are several reasons for doing so.
The first reason to do so is for your benefit. In fact, all the facilitations provided by Allisone in the rest of the process are based on the xray and the elements that appear on it. Updating the elements will bring you a number of benefits:
Allisone automatically generates a radio report based on the elements present on the radio. Having the correct annotations on the X-ray will enable you to obtain a comprehensive X-ray report for inclusion in the patient file of your practice management software.
Allisone also facilitates the treatment plan design process, thanks to your care preferences. If the elements on the X-ray are not validated, the suggestions made to you in the treatment plan will not necessarily be relevant.
Allisone also generates a post-consultation document for you, and automatically pre-selects teaching sheets based on the elements present on the X-ray. You can, however, manually select or deselect the individual cards of your choice.
The second objective is for your patient. Allisone enables your patients to visualize, locate and understand the various elements present on the X-ray, and to keep a record of them so that they can consult them at home to make the most appropriate treatment decision. The post-consultation report, if correctly filled in, will support your quotation. The patient will be able to make a link between the different lines of the estimate, the elements visible on the X-ray and the educational sheet on the treatment required.
