Video content is taking over. You literally see it everywhere and I am sure you have realised it in your day to day. Getting someone's attention is easier by sharing videos as it decreases the threshold to consume the content while making it more personal as well.

In Along, we see it as a necessity to make video creation as frictionless as possible. You can create and share video content with one click directly in Along.

Depending on your browser settings, you may have access to recording your screen, turning on your camera or turning on your microphone.

The first thing when you want to record your first video in Along is to give the right permissions. In Chrome, there is a dropdown for the settings within your browser, that pops up.

Here you should click on "Allow on every visit" to avoid having any future permission restriction issues.

The way you control settings depend on each browser. In Chrome, you can control the settings in the domain input field of a tab.

In Safari, giving access will looks something like this. Please make sure you "allow" access to record a video

Simply add the "Record video" content block in any section or action. Or record a video when writing a comment.

Configure the video settings and record the video instantly within Along.

While the video is recorded, you can control the video recording from the edit bar in the left bottom corner as described in the image below

Once you have finished recording the video, the video is auto-saved in the section, action or comment where you created the video.

The video can then be deleted from the space or comment afterwards as well.

Sharing a video can be done by attaching it to a comment, which auto-shares the video via the comment notification that is triggered to the seller members and the tagged buyer members.

Or you can share a video by copying the section or action link it is added in and sending that to the recipient via email or any other communication channel you prefer.

The video shows up in the shared materials or resources tab as well!

Recording a video is limited depending on the plan you are subscribed to.
