Funnel Settings and Domain Connection

Before you start adding copy or images, it is worth taking a few minutes to configure your funnel settings and connect your domain. This gives your funnel a clean, professional URL — one that reflects your brand rather than a generic system link.

Configuring Funnel Settings

Written Instructions

Accessing your funnel settings

  1. From your Funnels list, click on the funnel you created in Step 1 to open it.

  2. Click the Settings tab at the top of the funnel builder (next to the page tabs).

Configuring your funnel settings

Inside funnel settings, there are a few things worth setting up now:

Funnel name

This is the internal name that appears in your Funnels list. You set this when you cloned the template, but you can update it here at any time. Keep it clear and specific — you may have multiple course funnels over time.

URL path (page slug)

The URL path is the last part of your funnel's web address — the bit that comes after your domain name. For example, if your domain is yourbusiness.com.au and your path is btb, your funnel URL will be yourbusiness.com.au/btb.

  • Keep it short and easy to type — two or three letters or a short word works well.

  • Use lowercase letters and hyphens only. No spaces or special characters.

  • Make it recognisable to your audience if you plan to share it directly — for example, /btb for Beyond the Brain, or /course.

💡 Write down your final funnel URL once it is set — you will need it when linking from your website and sharing in emails and social posts.

Connecting a domain to a Funnel

To give your funnel a branded URL, you need to attach it to a domain that is already connected in your Alvéya account or add a new one.

  1. In funnel settings, find the Domain field on the right hand side.

  2. Click the dropdown and select the domain you want to use.

  3. Your funnel URL will update to show a preview — confirm it looks correct.

  4. Click Save.

⚠️ If you do not see your domain in the dropdown, it has not yet been connected to Alvéya. Follow the Domain Setup guide to add it first, then return here to complete this step.

Setting up individual URL links for pages (Optional)

Each page inside your funnel — the sales page, order form, and thank you page — has its own path that sits after the main funnel URL. These are usually set by default when you use a template, but it is worth checking them.

  1. Click on the Sales Page tab in your funnel.

  2. Click the setting cogwheel that is to the right of the blue Edit button

  3. The order form page might be /order or /checkout.

  4. The thank you page is typically /thank-you or /confirmation.

💡 You do not need to change the default page paths unless you have a specific reason to. The funnel URL you set above is what you will be sharing publicly — the individual page paths handle the navigation between steps automatically.
