Collaboration in amaise lets you work with others — directly within the case. You can access collaboration via the icon in the tool bar on the right edge of the screen.

Three ways to collaborate

Chat

Ask a quick question via chat — several people at once if you like, from your workspace or outside it. A chat is what every request is by default. Where your workspace also runs formal requests, it sets which type new ones start as and you switch it in a request's three-dot menu.

Formal request

Send a structured request with a question and an answer — to colleagues or to an external service provider (e.g., an expert office). It is available where your workspace runs formal requests. When it goes to an external service provider, it follows a formal process with assignment to an expert, response, and review by an administrator.

Mention a colleague

Address someone directly in a case note or a dashboard answer with @. The mentioned person gets a bell notification and an email with a link that takes them straight to the spot.

For experts and administrators

If you work at an external service provider and handle requests, here is the guide for managing incoming requests — from both the administrator’s and expert’s perspective.

Access management

Control who can access a case. Manage access permissions, add external users, and restrict document access.

Requests overview

The requests overview is the central page for all collaboration requests — formal requests and chats are shown together here. You can reach it via the left navigation bar.

If you work as an external employee of an external service provider, the requests overview is your main view in this workspace.
