The Nextek PHD converts 120, 208, 240, 277VAC, or 380VDC power to 24VDC through 16 individual Class 2 outputs and eight 0-10V outputs (sourcing or sinking [will sink a little]). Each 24VDC output can dim a driverless fixture via constant voltage PWM.
Included accessories: power cord, connectors, by-pass power cables, channel 16-input power block.
1. PHD location:
PHDs must be physically accessible forever to allow servicing. Do not place above other mechanical obstructions such as sprinkler pipes etc. Reference your Nextek design plan for the recommended placement of the PHD(s) at your project site. It’s important to mount the PHDs as close to the design plan locations as possible. Keep obstructions 6 inches away from the left and right sides of each PHD to allow tools access to remove fasteners.
2. There are two preferred mounting methods:
SUSPENSION: suspend the PHD from the building structure using a ¼-20 threaded rod through each of the 4 mounting holes. Units should be hung level with outputs facing downward and the threaded rod should be properly anchored to the building structure.
WALL MOUNT: four bolts through the backplate to any wall that will support at least 40lbs.

3. Connect the PHD to AC or DC power using only the provided Anderson Power Saf-D-GridⓇ 12AWG Power Cord(s):
4. Units must be installed on a branch circuit with at least 20A circuit protection. Reference the recommended number of PHD units per 20A circuit breaker (Type B and C):

5. Connect up to 95W of loads to each channel (single output) of the PHD with supplied 2-conductor cables. Reference the legend on your Nextek Design Plan for wire gauge.
6. WIRED 0-10V Source: The PHD -FF model can host up to 8 zones for controlling devices with a 0-10V analog source, such as an LED light fixture with a 0-10V dimming driver. Do not connect sensors or switches to the 0-10V output
Use 20AWG or thicker solid or stranded wire.
Wire can be directly inserted into the connector using a small flathead screw to depress the lever and open up the terminal block. Depress the lever to release wire.
Strip wire to ⅜’’.
Driver’s gray input wire: If controlling low-voltage dc fixtures, there is no need to attach anything to the fixture’s gray (- or 0V) input, just cap it off with a wire nut.If controlling fixtures powered by AC line voltage, run a gray or black wire from the negative terminal of channel 16 to the gray wire on the driver.
