We’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue the ability to create Spotlights with Amazon Music for Artists. Beginning July 31, 2024 artists will no longer be able to use these features to create and share personal voice messages on Amazon Music.
While we are no longer able to support this feature, we know that voice is still an important tool to engage fans across both Amazon Music and Amazon.com. Learn more about artist follow campaigns, voice prompts for new music, and other Alexa features here. Voice reporting and artists’ ability to see their Daily Voice Index will still be available in Amazon Music for Artists.
If you haven’t already, we also encourage you to check out Hype Deck, Amazon Music for Artists’ newest feature, which provides customizable share cards to promote your music and playlist adds on Amazon Music.
I just published a Spotlight. What’s going to happen to it?
Your Spotlight will not be impacted and will be live until the expiration date that you set (even if that date is after July 31, 2024).
What if I want to delete my Spotlight after July 31, 2024?
