What are artist bios?
Amazon Music will feature artist biographies on the Artist Detail Page in the mobile app. Our goal is to help fans learn more about the life, music, and careers of the artists they love.
Where did my artist bio come from?
The bios are written by professional writers and are licensed to Amazon by a third party (Xperi/TiVo).
Where will fans see my artist bio?
Bios will be displayed on the Artist Detail Page. Customers will see a short snippet and can click "read more" to view the full artist bio.
Who can see my artist bio?
Bios are available to any customer using iOS whose language preference in the app is set to English. We will expand to additional platforms and languages in the future.
How do I edit my artist bio?
Submit corrections and updates to our data provider using this email address: content.music@tivo.com. This will ensure your bio is accurate on all of the sites that our data provider serves. We update bios regularly as we receive them from Xperi/TiVo.
