Storing Unsupported File Types

If a file type is not natively supported by PXM, you can typically still store it by compressing the file into a .zip archive and uploading the zipped version instead.

When using this approach:

  • The file will be stored in PXM as a zip archive.

  • The file must be unzipped after download in order to be used.

  • This allows you to keep all related assets centralized in PXM, even if the original file format is not directly supported.

This is a recommended workaround for long-term storage and organization of unsupported file types.
