Like other free extras in Amplifiles (voice-over, captions, and branding), adding background music is optional but we highly recommend it. You can add music while your images are animating or after they’re ready.

Sync your video to the beat
Selected tracks in the library are hand-synced by our editors, beat by beat. When you turn Beat Sync on, your clips change in time with the music instead of at fixed intervals, and the video starts to look edited rather than assembled.

How to turn it on
Look for the Beat synced tag in the music list. You can also filter the library to show only tracks that support Beat Sync.
Select the track you want.
Click Sync video to beat. This step is deliberate, because the same tracks can also be used without Beat Sync.
Once Beat Sync is on, the video duration adjusts automatically and every clip changes on the beat.
Check your sync status
At the bottom of the page you will see the sync status at a glance. A green dot means the whole video is in sync with the music. The same button also lets you re-sync your clips and music whenever you need to.
If your clips fall out of sync
Changing clip lengths after Beat Sync is on will push clips off the beat. Editing one or two clips does not reset the whole video, but those clips and the ones after them will no longer land on the beat.
Save your favorite tracks
Found a track that fits your brand? Click the heart icon on the track to save it as a favourite.
Favourites appear in their own tab at the left of the music library, so your usual tracks are one click away on every video. You can favourite as many as you like and remove them the same way.
💡 Using the same one or two tracks across all your listings makes your videos recognisable as yours before the viewer even sees your logo.

Adjust volume, add fade in and fade out effects, start with silence, and pick the exact point where the music begins. Great for matching the best part of a longer track to your video.
