You can add new status reasons to service requests, edit existing status reasons, and delete status reasons that you no longer need. 

  • On the Company tab, click Service Request Types, and then click Status Reasons on the toolbar.

To add a status reason

  • On the SR Status Reasons page, click Add on the toolbar.
  • In the SR Status Reason dialog box, select the appropriate status in the Status box, type the name of the reason in the Status Reason box, if needed, select a question section in the Questions Section box, and then click OK.

To edit a status reason

  • On the SR Status Reasons page, click Edit next to the status reason that you want to change.
  • In the SR Status Reason dialog box, make the appropriate changes, and then click OK.

To delete a status reason

  • On the SR Status Reasons page, click Delete next to the status reason that you want to remove.
  • Click OK in the confirmation message.

When technicians close or reject service requests in the mobile app they can specify the appropriate reason.
