You can use tags for additional categorization or classification of your inventory vehicles. For example, a vehicle inventory may have vehicles of different makes and/or models, and the oil change of some models should occur every 5000 miles, while the oil change of other models should occur every 7000 miles, so you can create tags to differentiate vehicles based on their oil change miles.

To create and/or assign a tag to a vehicle

  • When adding a new vehicle or editing an existing vehicle, type the name of the new tag in the upper field of the Vehicle Details view, click the Create [Tag Name] or Tag Name option in the drop-down menu, and then click Save.

Note The tags are displayed among other vehicle information in the list of vehicles.

To create and/or assign a tag to one or multiple selected vehicles in the list.

  • Select one or multiple vehicles, type the name of the tag in the upper field, and then click the Create [Tag Name] or Tag Name option in the drop-down menu.

Tip You can select the check box next to the upper field to create and/or assign a tag to all the vehicles displayed in the list.

You can also find vehicles by searching for their tags in the ‘Search’ field.
