Managing your Anara account

How to update your display name, email, enable 2FA, clear cookies, and log out of all devices.

Updated today

Your Anara account is where you manage your identity, security, and session access. Most of it lives in one place: Settings > Account.

Updating your display name

Your display name is visible to collaborators in shared workspaces. To change it:

  1. Find the Display name field.

  2. Enter your new name and save.

Your email address

Your email address is shown in Settings > Account. It's read-only β€” this is the address used for sign-in and billing receipts. If you need to update it, contact support via the Support menu in the bottom left sidebar.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

2FA is in the Security section of Settings > Account. We recommend enabling it, especially if your Anara library contains sensitive research. See Setting up 2FA for step-by-step instructions.

Clear cookies

Clearing cookies resets your browser session state. Use this if you're experiencing login issues or unusual behavior.

  1. Go to Settings > Account.

  2. Click Clear cookies.

You'll be signed out. Sign back in to continue.

Log out of all devices

If you've signed in on multiple devices and want to end all active sessions at once:

  1. Go to Settings > Account.

  2. Click Log out of all devices.

You'll be signed out everywhere immediately.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is available in the Danger zone at the bottom of Settings > Account. This is permanent β€” see How to delete your Anara account for the full checklist before proceeding.
