Your research already lives somewhere: Zotero collections, Google Drive folders, Notion pages, scientific databases. Connectors bring those sources into Anara so they appear as searchable options in your AI chat, right alongside your uploaded documents.
Think of each connector as a bridge. Once built, type @ in any chat and select from all your connected sources at once — asking questions that draw on your Zotero library, Google Drive, and Anara library simultaneously.
Where to find connectors
Go to Settings > Connectors. Each connector shows whether it is connected or disconnected, with a button to connect or manage it.

Using connected sources in chat
Once a connector is active, type @ in the chat input. Under Sources, you will see your connected integrations listed alongside Library and Web. Select any of them to scope your AI search to that source.
You can combine sources — or let the AI search everything at once. Either way, every answer comes with citations linking back to the exact passage it came from.
Tip: Use @Library for your uploaded documents, @Zotero for your reference manager, and @Web for live web search — all in the same conversation.
If a connector is not working
Not appearing as a source? Disconnect and reconnect from Settings > Connectors. Third-party authorizations can expire.
Content feels outdated? Click Resync next to the connector to pull in the latest files.
