With Anchor, you can pay for services automatically, without hassle.
To do so, all you have to do is add a payment method during the proposal approval process, or via the client portal if you get a direct link to that page from your service provider.
You can instantly link your bank account with Plaid, which lets you quickly and securely connect your bank account using:
Bank credentials (user and password)
Or, using routing and account numbers. If you choose to manually verify your bank account, Plaid will transfer and withdraw a small verification amount.
Alternatively, you can use your credit card directly and add your details.
You can always edit or update the payment method in the agreement when needed.
Connecting a Credit Card
Select the credit card option, and simply enter your details.
Connecting Bank Account
Once you click on 'Connect bank account', a Plaid connection will be prompted.
Select one of the following options:
Instant Authentication
Just enter your banking credentials, and voila! Your bank account is connected instantly.
Manual Micro-deposits
Click “Connect bank account” and select the manual option to enter your account and routing numbers.
Plaid will send a single deposit of $0.1, which may take one to two business days to appear.
Once received, return to Anchor and enter the three-letter code shown in the transaction description.
You can also provide the three-letter code to your service provider, and they can enter it in Anchor for you.
If you haven't received the micro-deposit or the verification process needs to be restarted, you can easily trigger a new verification attempt:
Navigate to the Payment Method tab in the agreement
Click ‘Restart’ next to the pending verification status
Plaid will reopen, allowing your client to reconnect their bank account
Once completed, a new micro-deposit will be sent within 1-2 business days for verification
Automated Micro-deposits
For banks that support this option, Plaid sends a single micro-deposit to your account and automatically verifies it within one to two business days. There’s no need to return to Anchor to enter the 3-letter code - a notification will appear once verification is complete.
