Create a post

Updated over a week ago

The Feed page is your go-to place for updates, announcements, and community engagement. Keep your customers informed about upcoming events, important news, and activities happening in your workspace.

To create a post on Feed, go to Spacebring and follow the steps:

  1. Enable the "Feed" switch on Location settings page by pressing the menu (...) near the location name > Feed.

  2. Go to Engagement > Feed and press the Create post top right.

3. Add the contents of your post.

4. Press Post. All members of the location will immediately get notified with a push notification.

The visibility of all posts is determined by the visibility of the Feed page, which you can configure under Location settings > Feed page.

Content formatting and attachments

Text can be formatted using visual instruments or a simple markdown:

  • **two stars** to make the text bold.

  • *one star* to make the text italic.

  • ~~two tildes~~ to strikethrough text.

  • [anchor text](URL) to create inline hyperlinks. Make sure there's no space between ] and (. For example, [Spacebring Blog](https://www.spacebring.com/blog/) would give you Spacebring Blog.

  • # to create a hashtag.

You can attach one or multiple photos and videos. Any naked links within the text will have previews with cover photos.

Feed permissions

Administrators can choose who can post, view comments, and comment in your Feed according to app visibility settings on the Location settings page by pressing the menu (...) near the location name > Feed.

These settings define permissions for all posts on the Feed page.

Using this module is only available on specific plans.

Use hashtags in posts

  • Add hashtags to your feed posts to organize them by topics and make it easier for interested users to find related posts. When a user clicks on a hashtag, the Feed page is filtered to show all posts that contain the same hashtag.

  • The 5 most frequently used hashtags in the last 6 months are prominently shown at the top of the Feed page. This allows quick and convenient access to popular or important categories of posts for all users.
