How to remove a camera

How to pause video recording or broadcasting, and how to disconnect or permanently remove a camera from your Angelcam account — depending on your needs.

Camera Management Options

Depending on your situation, you may want to:

  • Pause video recording to temporarily stop saving footage to the cloud.

  • Pause broadcasting to stop live streaming from your camera.

  • Disconnect the camera from Angelcam without deleting it.

  • Remove the camera permanently from your account.

How to Pause Recording or Broadcasting

Each camera listed under "My Locations" displays a set of icons beneath its preview. These icons represent key features such as cloud recording and broadcasting.

  • When a feature is enabled, its icon appears in color.

  • When a feature is disabled, the icon turns gray, indicating it's inactive.

To pause or disable a feature:

  1. Go to "My Locations" in the Angelcam app.

  2. Find the camera you want to manage.

  3. Tap the relevant icon (e.g., recording or broadcasting) to toggle it on or off.

This allows you to quickly control your camera’s behavior without needing to remove or disconnect it entirely.

How to Permanently Remove a Camera

If you're sure you want to delete a camera from your account:

  1. Go to "My Cameras".

  2. Click on the camera you wish to remove.

  3. Navigate to the Settings tab.

  4. Click "Remove Camera" to delete it permanently.
