The AngelBox is a small, powerful device that connects all your security cameras to the cloud easily, securely, and reliably. More details can be found at www.angelcam.com/angelbox.
💡 While the AngelBox is compatible with most network video-enabled devices on the market, and we offer a 100% money-back guarantee, we encourage you to do this compatibility test before your purchase.
Before testing, ensure that:
You are on the same local network as the camera(s). The subnet is also important
The camera(s) are accessible on default ports. The ports currently being scanned are: 554, 88, 81, 555, 7447, 8554, 7070, 10554, 80, 6667
The camera(s) or DVR/NVR are streaming via:
RTSP stream protocol with H.264 encoding
or
HTTP stream protocol with MJPEG encoding
The AngelBox Compatibility Tester is a desktop app with the same auto-discovery feature as the real AngelBox so you will know if the AngelBox will work for you before you buy.
The application is available for macOS and Linux currently (Windows version is coming soon):
MacOS
The package is compatible with all macOS versions starting from macOS 10.13 High Sierra.
Linux
Currently, there are installation packages for two major Linux distributions - Ubuntu and Fedora. You should always use the corresponding version of your distribution. Other versions are not guaranteed to work.
While the AngelBox Compatibility tester will help you find out if the AngelBox works with your camera setup, it isn't designed for a permanent connection.
