A significant number of homeowners say they won’t hire a pro who doesn’t have an online presence. Take these steps to complete your Angi profile and start winning more jobs today.

#1 | Request and respond to reviews

Nine out of 10 homeowners research pros online before hiring them. Including reviews on your Angi profile will help you earn their trust and make it easy for them to see why they should hire you.

You should consistently request reviews from past customers and respond to reviews on your profile. Responding positively and constructively, no matter what a client says, helps reinforce your commitment to good customer service. It also shows customers you take their feedback seriously.

We make it simple to request reviews from past Angi customers you’ve done work for - simply head to the Angi for Pros site or Angi app.

#2 | Upload photos of your work

Photos help homeowners make informed decisions. Showing photos of work you’ve done for other customers helps them confirm that you’re the right pro for the job. And, since people don’t always know exactly what they want when it comes to home improvements, photos can also inspire projects and provide a starting point for discussions regarding design, materials and more.

Be sure to include:

  • Only high-quality images

  • Before and after photos (It’s best if they’re taken from the same angle)

  • A range of projects

#3 | Share certificates and licenses

If you have certificates or licenses specific to your line of work, your profile is a great place to list them.

Be sure to include:

  • When the certificate or license was issued

  • Who it was issued by

  • What types of projects it covers

Showing customers that you’re qualified for the work they need done is another way to build trust and help you win leads.

#4 | Share accolades and awards

Have you won a local award? Were you recognized at a regional or national conference? Tell prospective customers about what you’ve accomplished. Include information about what the achievement is and where it’s from. This is yet another way to let customers know you’re the best pro to get the job done right.
