We’re making changes to how your public profile appears to homeowners on Angi. Get noticed with a larger, more prominent profile photo. Check out our tips for picking that perfect photo, and learn how to add it to your public profile below.

How to pick a profile photo

We’ll use your most recent photo gallery upload as your new, larger profile photo. See how to choose a profile photo below.

Dos:

  • Go with the photo that best represents your company.

  • Consider showcasing your completed work, your team in uniform, or even your branding.

  • Choose a high-quality, horizontal photo that you own.

Don’ts:

  • Avoid vertical, blurry, or dark photos and logos.

  • Avoid using screen captures or other low-quality photos.

  • Never use a photo you don’t own, like stock photos.

How to add a new profile photo

  1. Sign in to your Angi Ads account on office.angi.com.

  2. Select “My business” in the top navigation to see your “Business profile.”

  3. Select “Photos” in the left side panel.

  4. Select “Add a photo.” The most recent image in this gallery will become your new profile photo.

  5. On your "Business profile," select “Preview profile” to see how your new profile photo will appear to customers. Note: It may take 24 hours to update.

How to take a great profile photo

Use landscape format.

Horizontal photos work best in your new business profile design.

Natural light is better than flash.

Get more attractive photos with soft, natural daylight.

Check your background.

For professional-looking photos, remove any clutter (equipment, personal items, trash, etc.).

Confirm your photo quality.

Only use high-resolution images with a width of at least 1,000 pixels. This will ensure they appear crisp instead of blurry.

Hire a photographer.

If possible, work with a professional to shoot your business photos.
