Setting Up API Integration for ServiceTitan v3.0 with Zapier

ServiceTitan requires a customized API set up to integrate with Angi Ads, so we've created this article to make the process simpler.

As of November 15th, 2022, ServiceTitan has informed us that they are sunsetting (deactivating) the v1 setup currently being used to connect to our Angi Ads API. Therefore, ServiceTitan has suggested we use a site called Zapier to connect to their new v2/v3 App.

This article shows you how to start your Angi Ads Campaign within ServiceTitan, and the information you gathered in the chart will be needed to follow the process below.

  1. Log in to your Zapier account. If you do not have a Zapier account, you will need to create a "Professional" Tier Zapier subscription on Zapier's website.

  2. Once you're logged in, follow this link to be taken to the Zapier Template for Angi Ads ServiceTitan API Integration.

  3. Click Try This Zap after signing up or logging in.

  4. Click Catch Hook in Webhooks by Zapier.

  5. Select Test, then Copy next to the Webhook URL that is provided. From here, follow the steps in this article to set up the integration on Angi Ads. Once you've completed the steps in that article, return to this one and move on to Step 6.

  6. After completing the steps from the article in Step 5, return to Zapier and click Test Trigger in the same box where you found your Webhook URL.

  7. Once you've completed the Test, you will see results similar to this on the page. Once you do, click the button that says Continue with selected record.

  8. Click Continue on the next screen under App & event. Then select Choose under Account.

  9. A dropdown will appear and at the bottom, select + Connect a new account.

  10. This is where you will enter the information you gathered from ServiceTitan in the first article linked at the top of this page. When you get to the "Environment" field, choose Production from the dropdown menu. Then click Yes, Continue to ServiceTitan at the bottom of the page.

  11. Under the Action menu, map Angi Ads field names into ServiceTitan. Be sure to match the information exactly as shown below to ensure the setup will complete correctly. The Booking Provider ID and Campaign ID will come from the information gathered from ServiceTitan in the first article at the top of this page.

  12. Once you've finished the last field that says "External Id", click the Continue button, then click Test step. You should see a successful test sent to your ServiceTitan account as a booking for Test User in Indianapolis, IN. If so, click Publish.

Your Zapier process is now live! You will still be notified of all new leads from Angi Ads just as you have been up to this point. They will also still be available in your Angi for Pros desktop site and Angi Ads Pro App, should you need to access them within the Angi Ads platform.

Please Note: While these steps are meant to assist you, if you are having issues with ServiceTitan, you will need to speak with your CRM or technical administrator, as we do not have the ability to troubleshoot ServiceTitan on our end.
