Messaging

  • Add Appointment Booking Links to Messages in the Toolbar: you can now attach appointment booking links directly to messages sent from the toolbar.

    • How to Use: look out for the new "Include booking invite" button beneath the message body in the text editor.

Documents

  • Save Email Bodies as Documents: You can now automatically save the text of emails as documents.

    • How to Enable: Go to Settings > Documents > Anima Email Ingestion > Include email body.

  • Consolidated Email Documents: Email bodies and attachments can be automatically combined into a single PDF document.

    • How to Enable: Go to Settings > Documents > Anima Email Ingestion > Merge email into single document

  • Control Email Processing: You can now prevent emails from being automatically processed if needed. Allowing you to review the document before processing.

    • How to Disable: Go to Settings > Documents > Anima Email Ingestion > Automatically process emails

  • Reduced Clutter within Documents: The custom fields powering suggested tasks (GPActions, MedicationChange) will no longer appear in the data tab or be saved to record

  • Enhanced Duplicate Document Detection: The system will now identify potential duplicate documents more frequently using looser criteria. This should help identify duplicate documents earlier

  • Patient Registration Warnings when Saving: You will now receive a warning if you are attempting to save a document for a patient who is not registered at your practice according to the NHS Patient Demographics Service.

  • Document Annotation Improvements: We've made improvements to document annotations, including persistent settings and increased reliability of saved annotations.

New Requests View

  • Timeline View Update: Minor improvements have been made to the timeline view for a more user-friendly experience.

Patient Questionnaires

  • Improvements to Asthma Questionnaire: When a patient indicates zero exacerbations in the past year on the Asthma questionnaire, this will now be explicitly coded in their record.
