Our Shopify app enables merchants to integrate 3D photos of their products on their Shopify Store. What is generally a very expensive process that requires the help of an agency is now a simple self-serve solution.

This guide will help you to integrate your first 3D photo on your Shopify Store.

First, install the Doly Shopify app and create an account (Sign-up) if you don't have one already. If you are already an app user, connect with your existing account.

To create a 3D photo of your product, you will have to install and use the Doly iPhone app, as it will use your iPhone camera.

You will have to log using the account you just created.

You will then have to do your first capture, which is explained in this article.

Once your capture has finished processing, you will have your first 3D photo available.

Before adding the 3D photo block, you will need to add your 3D photo to a product.

If you haven't captured any 3D photo yet, you can use the showroom captures to do so.

On the 3D photo you want to add :

All the products that don't have 3D photos added to them won't show any 3D photos or any Block.

Press on "Add Block" on the app page.

This will open your product page and add the "Doly 3D photo" block (on the left), which is where the 3D photos are displayed.

You will see that an additional block has been created "Doly 3D. This Block will displays the 3d photo added to the selected capture.

If you don't have any 3D photo selected for that product page, you can change the preview page by clicking on "change" on the preview section on the top left.

As other blocks, you can move that block in the page to get to the best integration for you. Note that for the moment, it is not possible to show the block with the other medias (photos, videos) in the media library.

You can get back to that screen later by getting on the "Themes" section of your Online shop.

You may also use a theme copy to test 3D photos. To do that, you will have to add manually the Doly Block by pressing on "Add Block" in your copy theme.

Note that the integration options will be the same for all the 3D photos you will add on your store. By editing the block, this will affect all your product pages which have 3D photos.

You can configure the width and height of your 3D photo block by testing different parameters there.

You can use a fixed value (600px), a percentage or viewport width units (100vw).

You can change two parameters today :

The color will change the color background for all your captures. Our users usually put them to the same color as their other visual backgrounds.

The "Hide shadow" parameter will make the shadow disappear.

Once you're satisfied with your results, press "Save" and your 3D photos will be displayed live on your Shopify Store.
