While the app has a plethora of useful and exciting features, we've designed the Anova Precision Cooker to operate completely without the app. You can use the device to its fullest extent without connecting the app to the device.

To change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celcius:

1. Hold down the play button for 6 seconds (the temperature will then switch from F to C or vice versa). Keep holding the play button for 4 more seconds to switch them back.

To set the timer:
1. Press and hold play/Start for 8 seconds -

2. Press and hold the timer icon for 3 seconds to set time via the scroll wheel.

3. Set the time by scrolling the wheel up or down.

4. After you have reached your desired time, press the timer button again and time will automatically start counting down.
