Visualization controls

The visualizations in Synthace use a standard set of controls.

Click a control to highlight it. If a control is highlighted, you can perform its action.

Note: Your visualization might not use every control in the following table.

Click and drag in the plot area to pan it.

Click and drag in the plot area to pan left and right.

Click and drag in the plot area to pan up and down.

Scroll up to zoom in to the plot area. Scroll down to zoom out from the plot area.

Click and drag in the plot area to draw a box in which to zoom.

Select a single data point. This highlights each point in the relevant data table.

Click and drag in the plot area to draw a lasso in which to select multiple data points. This highlights each point in the relevant data table.

Click and drag in the plot area to select all of the data points between two values on the x axis. This highlights each point in the relevant data table.

Click in the plot area to place the corners of a polygon in which to select multiple data points. This highlights each point in the relevant data table.

Example: If you place three corners, Synthace draws a polygon between them and selects the data points within the area of the polygon. If you add a fourth corner, Synthace enlarges the polygon.

Tip: You must place at least three corners to use this control.

Download the plot to your computer.

Reset the plot area to its default appearance.

Hover over a data point to see more values for the data point.
