Numerical factors

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Numerical factors are some of the most common factors that you will investigate in the biological space. These are factors that can take values which are numbers.

Most commonly they represent the concentration or volume contributions of liquid components used in mixtures. However, they can also extend to common process parameters, such as temperature and time.

In the following tutorials learn about numerical factors and how to use them in Synthace.

In this introduction to numerical factors you will learn what they are and how they relate to parameters in specific elements and how numerical factors can be sampled differently for specific DOE designs.

Learn how to use the user interface to define numerical factors for mixture components.

Learn how to use the user interface to define the final mixture volume as a numerical factor.

Learn how to use the user interface to define custom numerical factors.

Learn how to use numerical mixture component and final mixture volume factors to describe a media optimisation DOE.
