When you have completed the Borrower Interview section, you are able to proceed to the Summary and Submit section, which includes the Documents section:
Loanapp will create and auto-populate all the print forms that you need to review, complete and submit to support the application. This section will include a HLIG Document, ready to generate.
To generate your HLIG, you can either generate individually by clicking 'Generate HLIG', or you can generate along with other Documents by clicking 'Generate all documents':
Loanapp will alert you that document generation has started:
And after a few seconds, the status will change to "Ready" and a new control will appear to Download your HLIG:
The HLIG will generate complete with all the data you have entered in the Borrower Interview section of Loanapp for your review. You will note that you have other controls in Documents section to Regenerate or Delete a HLIG document.
Important: the HLIG is a dynamic PDF and is not compatible with the natural View/Edit feature in Loanapp - so you will find that when you generate the HLIG, the following "Please wait" message will appear. This is not an error.
You simply need to go to your downloads and select to open the download in Adobe
To do this, when you have clicked download in Loanapp:
Go to your downloads and instead of opening the file, click "Show in Folder":
This will open your Downloads folder, and from here you can elect to open your HLIG with Adobe:
If the HLIG Document is not yet ready for generating
Note where you have generated all documents and have not yet completed the Borrower Interview section in Loanapp, the HLIG document is incomplete.
Complete the Borrower Interview and then regenerate only the HLIG by clicking on "Generate HLIG" in the HLIG Document section.
Finalising your HLIG
Prior to submitting the HLIG, review and add:
the application number to front page
customer middle name (currently not flowing to the HLIG Document)
complete the Back up plan (currently not flowing to the HLIG Document)
for loans with multiple purposes (when applicable), add additional purposes and adjust the loan amount for each purpose
The validate and save button in the Loanapp generated HLIG document is currently not functioning. Ensure all mandatory fields are complete (highlighted by a red asterix), then save the HLIG in Adobe using the File Menu and Save As. Apply a unique name to differentiate from original and subsequent versions.
When you generate your supporting documents checklist, you will find that the HLIG has been sent to there, ready to be submitted along with your other supporting documents:
