In the Applicants section of Loanapp, when you are completing the personal details of your Person Applicants, you will need to complete the Statement of Position section.
The detail that you add in this section is:
for each applicant, their Marital Status
the number of adults that live in the Applicant household/s
the number of dependents that live in the Applicant household/s (non-applicants that are dependant on the Applicant income (generally children))
You will note as you add the Marital status of the applicant/s that the Statement of Position households will automatically be configured, per ANZ rules. The general rules are:
Where your applicants are Married or Defacto, to each other, the Statement of Position will automatically create the SOP to include both the Applicants:
The number of adults will be defaulted and locked to 2, and you will be able to edit the number of dependants
Where your applicants are both Single, the Statement of Position will automatically create two independent SOPs with individual applicants allocated to each SOP:
Again the number of adults detail will be completed and locked, while the number of dependants can still be edited.
Do not click on 'Add new person' option, instead please select from the the parties already in the application.
If you add a new person in error, click 'x' in Spouse name field to remove the details. Then select the correct applicant details, this will be the first person in the drop-down list.
Where you have a mix of Single/Separated and Married/Defacto applicants, the Statement of Positions will automatically create a SOP for the Single applicant; and another SOP of the Married Applicant. You will be able to add another non-applicant person as the spouse, if this is the situation. Again the number of adults in each SOP will be auto-set by Loanapp and uneditable:
The Statement of Position section is important to get correct as it will impact the HEM applied to your serviceability outcomes for your application. HEM is the benchmark living expenses that ANZ will apply to your applicants based on the makeup of their statement of position. |
